Environmental Careers That Create Change was the third in the Career Carnival for Kids Spring 2024 series, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to end the season. Lincoln Park Library was buzzing with curious kids and families creating sand structures and roads-in-a-cup, learning about environmentally friendly products and unfriendly mosquitos and ticks, and putting their hands on wood, leaves, and the world’s most mellow guinea pig. From exotic land development to local tree management, they were exposed to an exciting range of professions, asked loads of questions, and put their own knowledge and creativity to work.
Career Guides from ANS Geo, Langan, ASCE, HNTB, Morris County Mosquito Control, Morris County Shade Tree, Morris 4H, and Bear Minimum once again went above and beyond, as did the Lincoln Park Library team.
